DMA's

Natalie O'Dell

DMAs- what an awesome band to see live. With all the energy of their Australian roots, the band cleverly combine a sense of 90s Britpop inspiration to create amazing anthems. Their vibrancy filled the packed LCR on Tuesday night as they kicked off the UK leg of their tour in Norwich.

The night was characterised by the pure enjoyment felt by the crowd. This wasn’t the DMAs first time in Norwich and every time they play here, they’re sure to bring a truly infectious vibe with them. The Aussie’s have created an interestingly unique sound, fabricated with clear influence from bands like Oasis and Pulp, with definite hints of their Australian origins.

Frontman Tommy O’Dell’s relaxed demeanor made his distinctive vocal performance seem totally effortless, inviting the audience to join him on a journey of the band’s eclectic discography. Highlights from the night were Tape Deck Sick and of course Delete, which sent fans swaying. All in all, DMAs proved to be another incredible Australian band who make for a really fun night.
