About us
Outline is a free, monthly, independent magazine, providing you with a definitive guide of what’s happening where in Norwich.
From its roots back in 2001, Outline has grown and developed, constantly moving with the times. It provides a great archive of the recent social history of our Fine City. We are a small team, and are grateful to have an amazing team of enthusiastic volunteers aged 16-60 helping us.
We have a comprehensive, up to date directory of the coolest places to be, as well as a calendar of listings for this month and beyond.
As well as having Norwich wrapped up, we have lots of other sections that celebrate Norwich's diverse events. Why not look at our photo galleries to see if you’ve been caught out and about in the city, or enjoy some spectacular live gig photos.
Over the last few years we have interviewed some huge names including John Lydon, Professor Green, Johnny Marr, Public Enemy, Stereophonics, La Roux, Super Furry Animals and Leftfield to name a few.
We are unashamedly proud of much of the local talent that exists, and where possible we want to help to provide a platform where local artists can promote their work, so make sure you check out our favourite local act of the month, chosen by BBC Introducing in Norfolk.
We also review films, dvd’s and art exhibitions, as well as albums and hundreds of live Norwich gigs, comedy shows, theatre and dance performances each year.
We’ve got a fresh new website, the very one you are browsing now, and we want it to be of great value to you. To do that we need your ideas and suggestions of what you would like to see on the website, so email us at lizz@outlineonline.co.uk
We wouldn't exist without the support of our advertisers, both in the magazine and online. If you'd like to reach the 17-35 market of Norwich, and get your message out to 30,000 people monthly, ask us for our media pack.
Enjoy the site. Keep on keepin' on.

David Olusoga - A Gun Through Time
What was most surprising was how witty a speaker Olusoga is, quite a revelation given his austere TV persona. Given the grim journey he was about to take us on, perhaps its purpose was simply a chance to get to know each other before discussing the elephant in the room - or at least the gun on stage - the Maxim gun, known as the Devil's Paintbrush, spewing out 666 bullets a minute.
