The East Anglian Landscape Network is a largely informal series of gatherings for contemporary landscape practitioners in our part of the country.
That includes everything from psychogeographers to architects; artists and writers to field recordists; environmental activists to walking enthusiasts to planning wonks.
The first gathering will be in Norwich on 8th of March, at the Holloway, and will include three presenters talking informally about their work -
writer and researcher Elizabeth Bennett @drlizziejbennett on her book about landscape and the singing of folksong; activist and organiser Bridget McKenzie @bridget.mck on bringing imagination, activism and history to bear on environmental crisis; and ceramicist Sarah Horlock @sarahhorlock_ceramics who’s practice is informed by archaeology and landscape.
There’ll be 45-60 minutes of presentations and another hour of chatting, introductions, drinks, networking etc.
If successful, this meet up will happen quarterly across different locations in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex & Cambridgeshire.
